Nothing New Under the Sun

As I was reflecting today over this site and my desire for greater interaction and documentation of the learning process, it occurred to me that some might take this as people who think they have it all figured out or who think they are the first to think about all of this in this way.

I want to affirm this is not the case. Instead, I feel like Solomon, who says in Eccl. 1:9 “…there is nothing new under the sun.” God has been at work throughout all of history preparing a bride for Jesus. He has been at work building up the “body“ of Christ, the Church and He has graciously invited us to be a part of that.

I know better men have gone before us and are in it now than we are. My desire is not to lift up what we are doing or experiencing, but to mutually grow and develop as we interact over all that we are learning and experiencing. It is God who will lead us all in His way forward!

So let's make the most of this journey through partnering in it together!

We're In This Together!

I want to start this blog to help us walk together as fellow laborers in God's Kingdom work. Over the last nine years here in Brazil with Campus Outreach, we have learned so much and have documented so little of that process. I wish we had had a resource like this blog along the way to help us collectively record not only the things we were learning, but also the process that led us to those things.

Today I want to invite you to partner with us in this great world-wide pioneering adventure! I know we can all learn more and acheive more for God as we share and walk in this together! We want to know what you have been learning, thinking, and what questions have been keeping you from moving forward.

I pray God will lead our hearts and our paths for His glory and our good! God hep us understand how You would have us build more effective lifetime laborers for the lost world! In Jesus' name! Amen!
